2. Recovery Point Objective (RPO) – How Much Data Could Be Lost?

- Backup Frequency: Advance2000 performs daily, full system backups for your critical files, applications, and data. Backups occur every 24 hours and capture a complete snapshot of your data at a specific point in time.
- RPO Implications: Since we perform daily backups, your RPO is up to 24 hours. This means that, in the unlikely event of a disaster, your data can be restored to the most recent daily backup.
- What This Means for You: Any unsaved changes or data created after the most recent daily backup would not be included in the recovery. However, if users save their work frequently throughout the day, those files will be backed up in the next daily snapshot.
- Custom Backup Options: If you require a shorter RPO (like hourly or near-real-time backup), we offer custom backup options such as real-time replication and more frequent backup intervals. These provide additional protection but come with an added cost.
